Applications available to download

Aladdin Expander

To open the ".sit" archives that we used to generate, MS Windows users may need to obtain an application. We now generate ".zip" archives. Windows users will be open these without any special software. Stuffit expander can replace the default Windows application for dealing with all common archive formats (including zip files). When installing the application, choose to install only the expander application if you do not want to pay for a licence.

Apple Mac users will almost certainly have the necessary software to deal with ".sit" and ".zip" files on their computer already, but if not, please visit the Aladdin web site.

Unsit

Unsit is a free command line application that runs from a DOS prompt in Windows. It will expand up our data archives.
