Christmas Shut Down 2009

14th Dec 2009

It is that time of year again and thoughts are turning to the festive period. Everyone needs a break, including us, and so we will be shutting down over the festive season. The dates on which we will be closed are:

  • PM on Thursday 24th December 2009
  • Friday 25th December 2009 until Monday 4th January 2010

We will reopen for business as usual on Tuesday 5th January 2010. To guarantee that results for regular DNA sequencing or fragment analysis will be returned before our shutdown samples must be received by us no later than first post on Wednesday 23rd December. For large scale projects or custom work, timescales will be different and customers should enquire about deadlines. Samples received after the deadline will be stored and processed once we reopen in 2010.

Christmas Post Mayhem...

We would also like to make customers aware of delays in us receiving samples posted in the regular mail. This is due to the usual seasonal increase in mail volumes. Once again, we recommend that customers who require a fast turnaround send their samples via a courier service or use "special delivery".

Merry Christmas!

We would like to send seasons greetings to all our customers and to thank them for their business in 2009. We look forward to being of continued service to customers in 2010.

Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year from DNA Sequencing and Services!
